In order to provide quality, reliable, but above all safe procedures for on-line purchase, in order to meet the needs in the current operation of the users of the cPay Payment Portal, we have developed a solution that we believe fully complies with your requirements. To get a clear idea of the course of an on-line transaction, we will list all the steps.
The transaction starts on the merchant’s website. The buyer chooses from the offered products or services and adds them to the consumer basket. The following data is transmitted using the redirect code: the total value of the consumer basket (without decimal separators), the currency of payment (the cPay Payment Portal’s payment is in denars), payment details 1 (this data is filled out by the merchant or the buyer ), payment details 2 (representing the unique identifier of the message in the merchant’s system), the merchant’s name and trader identification number, a url in which the trader will receive feedback on the success of the transaction.
With the redirect code except these data, the following customer data can be optionally forwarded: name, surname, address, postcode, country, telephone number and e-mail address. This means that if there is a buyer’s registration on the merchant’s page, the buyer’s data can be redirected to the cPay site and can be used to register the cPay buyer. In order to increase the security of on-line purchase, it is necessary for the merchant to have information about where his web site is hosted, all the addresses with which the website can be announced, whether a firewall is used.
With the buyer’s decision to pay and pressing the button, the buyer redirects to the cPay Payment Portal website and has the option to choose one of the three options offered; if he is already a registered user, by entering his username and password, he can continue to pay; if it is not a registered user and wants to register, its data being diverted from the merchant’s side can be used for registration (if the buyer wants to change that data); and the buyer can choose the option to pay without registering on cPay.
Registering cPay buyers is aimed at increasing online online security. By registering cPay the buyer gets more benefits: at any time there will be an overview of all transactions made by cPay, payment of bills and charges to the state, replenishment of prepaid accounts on mobile phones, a list of merchants that allow payment through cPay (link – to their side), and also the buyer can at any time find out the status of the account on his payment card (for holders of cards from banks in the network of CaSys)
During each transaction, the data from the payment card is entered. Authentication of the cardholder is done using the CVV2 / CVC2 authentication, and if the card is included in the 3D security model, 3D security authentication is made. Upon execution of the payment, the buyer is redirected back to the merchant site and receives information on the success of the financial transaction.
